The chief intent of this institution is to provide quality teaching vis-à-vis imparting the latest skills in all the academic disciplines with a vision of “Enlightenment and personality development of younger generation through education to make them an asset to the nation with global outlook”. Since its inception the authorities at the helm of affairs had been arranging seminars, symposia and extra mural lectures in collaboration with renowned institutions and celebrities of different fields to update the knowledge of learners.
Being a place of pilgrimage for the Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs and Sufis this place captivates the attention of the people with inter-religious orientations. As such there is purely a secular culture of the campus with a feeling of universal brotherhood. In this age of cut throat religious differences there is an undercurrent of humanitarian feeling among the teachers and learners. This generates a broad outlook with a positive vision.
Mission
This institution provides quality education along with promoting extra and co-curricular activities. It is located in a semi urban area with middle income group people and most of the inhabitants belong to low income group who cannot afford to send their children abroad or cosmopolis for higher education. Consequently the founders of this institution laid more emphasis on imparting optimum output with minimum investment.
In order to tone up their knowledge and infuse in them the essential ingredients of patriotic fervour and cultural inclination interfaith religious and spiritual lectures are organised in which both students and teachers share the session with the representatives of various faiths with secular outlook. They are also trained to take necessary steps for upliftment of the lowest rung of the society and nation building. The ambience of the college is such as to promote and patronise mutual coexistence of students belonging to different strata of the society cutting across religious, social and financial backgrounds. The students are trained to cooperate with the fellow mates and stand by them in adverse circumstances and natural calamities. This infuses a feeling of universal brotherhood. The college expresses special programmes for its Divyaang students, students coming from naxal affected backgrounds and those belonging to the deprived section of the society.
The institution aims at character building and overall personality development of the students. The professional ethics is supposed to be the essential traits of their personality enabling the learners leave the imprint of their personality in the jobs they are entrusted with.
More emphasis is given towards creating conducive environment for production and propagation of knowledge by initiating research orientation among by providing necessary infrastructure.
Experts from specialised fields of traditional and vocational courses are invited to interact with students and deliver extra mural lectures for applied areas of the subjects concerned. Special programmes for improving the art of oratory, pronunciation, communication and tonal variations by exposing them through the language laboratory and paying visits to the places of cultural interests and touring spots are organised.
